The discussion focused on developing the IT hub in Algeria and integrating Russian IoT solutions into the "Digital Algeria 2030" program.

Goals and Agenda
The agenda focused on integrating MapNT into the Algerian IT hub as a regional center for Africa and MENA. Map of New Technologies presented ready-made mobile application developments for smart villages in the Kaliningrad region and across Russia, and discussed creating new products for the Algerian region. The necessity of super apps as a global phenomenon and plans for close cooperation between Russia and Algeria were also addressed — a strategic policy for both countries. MapNT, as a small but important cog, is ready to assist in this direction. The discussion also covered development without American technologies, an area in which we have gained significant experience over the past five years.
Mr. Réda BELAID highlighted the priority of IoT for smart cities, agrotechnology, and Sahara automation, as well as synergies with ENGISOFT.NET’s solutions in information security. Topics included biometrics, banking system protection, and sensor networks for the energy sector. MapNT proposed solutions for smart villages and HoReCa, complementing the Algerian stack in information security.
Cooperation Prospects
The meeting opens projects for integrating Russian IoT platforms and super apps with Algerian ENGISOFT.NET solutions in fintech and video analytics. Algeria is growing its IT sector to 100,000 companies by 2030. MapNT will gain a partner for MENA exports, strengthening Kaliningrad’s digitalization expertise. The team is developing a roadmap for pilot implementations.
